The information technology unit of the hospital manages and directs the process of work in the hospital 24 hours a day, mechanically, from the time of arrival until the patient's discharge, relying on the HIS software of the Data Information Company. It should be noted that in addition to medical units, hospital administrative units also use soft wares covered by the university intranet in order to provide better services to colleagues and patients. Also, it is responsible for the systems of the ministry, in which different units upload information. It controls their correct performances. Also it improves their current situation.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting of discharge accounting, reporting and insurance subsystems.
  • Supporting of visual medicine subsystem (acceptance and response, statistical and financial reports)
  • Supporting of Laboratory subsystem (acceptance and response, sample delivery and editing, to-do list, quality control, statistical and financial reports)
  • Supporting of Pathology subsystem (acceptance and response, statistical and financial reports)
  • Supporting of Birth certificate subsystem.
  • Supporting of Inpatient ward subsystem (nursing reports, physician report, operation request, medication request, vital signs, patient record, test request, imaging request, consumables request, pathology request, discharge, registration of medical procedures, ward operation)
  • Supporting of Patient transfer subsystem   
  • Supporting of Medical Records Subsystem (Hospital Admissions, File Information Editing, ICD-10, ICD-9, Duplicate Record Deletion, Print Discharge Reports, Reports)
  • Supporting of Operating room subsystem (operating room, medication request, test request, pathology)
  • Supporting of Pharmaceutical warehouse subsystem   
  • Supporting of Outpatient and inpatient clinic subsystem (drug delivery and consumption requested by patients, drug delivery and consumption requested by the ward, reports)
  • Supporting of specialized polyclinic admission and scheduling subsystem.
  • Supporting of pediatric and midwifery emergency admission subsystem (inpatient and outpatient)
  • Supporting of emergency subsystem (admission, ward and instructions, communication with paraclinic, discharge or hospitalization of the patient)
  • Supporting of Fund subsystem (inpatient, outpatient, reporting)
  • Supporting of Table management subsystem (hospitalization, laboratory, pathology, imaging, pharmacy, outpatient emergency and polyclinic)
  • Supporting of Visual Medicine Pack subsystem.
  • Supporting of paraclinical insurance disks subsystem to provide to insurance organizations. 
  • Supporting of physicians account management subsystem.
  • Supporting and maintenance of hospital servers (Root Domain Control, Database Server, Backup Server, Exe Server, Fax Server, Pacs Server)
  • Supporting of hospital thanks system.
  • Supporting of myocardial infarction registration system of all hospitals of Semnan University of Medical Sciences and Shafa. 
  • Supporting of accrual software systems.
  • Supporting of recruitment software systems.
  • Supporting of payment software systems.
  • Supporting of office automation software systems.
  • Supporting of Timex watch devices and related software.
  • Supporting of the hemophilia patient system.
  • Supporting of the thalassemia patient system.
  • Supporting of prenatal mortality system.
  • Supporting of birth registration system.
  • Supporting of Child and teenager mortality system.
  • Supporting of insurance systems used in the hospital to enter information.
