Symptoms of puberty in girls are enlarged breast buds. Symptoms of puberty in boys are enlarged testicles and underarm hair and genital area with sweating. Now, if they happen at the wrong time, the person will have premature puberty or delayed puberty.
Premature puberty: The onset of puberty symptoms before the age of 8 in girls and before the age of 9 in boys
Delayed puberty: No onset of puberty symptoms in girls up to 13 years of age and boys up to 14 years of age
