The Educational Supervisor of the hospital said: an educational round on the topic of gestational diabetes was held in the VIP department on 18. June. 2023.

Nik Andish continued that this round was held due to the importance of nursing care, patient education and self-care in women's internal diseases, especially diabetes.

The educational supervisor stated: in this educational round, definition, diagnosis, action, risk factors, effects of diabetes before, during and after pregnancy, management of diabetes before, during and after delivery, prognosis of the disease, education to the patient with emphasis on warning signs and the importance of nutrition and exercise in pregnancy was discussed.

Then, , the review of the patient's case with the diagnosis of diabetes, the clinical and educational measures of nursing and midwifery and its compliance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and women's reference books was carried out by the educational vice-chancellor of the center, the director of nursing services, the educational supervisor, the vip officer, and the expert.
